What we do
Psychiatric care, end to end
Every service below is delivered by the same psychiatrist, so nothing gets lost between visits.
How it works
Three steps to your first visit
No maze of intake calls. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you reach out.
- 01
Book a consultation
Request an appointment online or by phone. Our office confirms your insurance and finds a time that works.
- 02
In-person screening
An unhurried evaluation to understand your history and goals, ending with a working diagnosis and a recommended plan — including a referral out if a different level of care is the better fit.
- 03
Follow-up care, if appropriate
When ongoing care here is the right fit, we continue with regular follow-ups to adjust treatment and track progress. If not, we help connect you to the right resource.

What we treat

FAQ
Questions we hear often
We accept many major commercial plans as well as Medicare. Because coverage varies by plan and not just by carrier, our office verifies your specific benefits before your first visit and tells you what to expect out of pocket.
Initial psychiatric evaluations are unhurried, with enough time to cover your full history. Follow-up visits are typically shorter, with more time scheduled when a visit calls for it.
Our focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and many visits include supportive therapy — practical guidance woven into the appointment. We are expanding our therapy offerings over time, and for dedicated weekly psychotherapy we coordinate closely with therapists and can refer you.
Not entirely. Your first visit — the evaluation and screening — is always in person at our Long Island office. After that, many patients handle most follow-ups by secure video, with periodic in-person visits when clinically appropriate. Telehealth is available to patients located in New York State.
Yes, when clinically appropriate and after a complete evaluation. Prescribing follows state and federal requirements, which may include an in-person visit and a controlled substance agreement.
Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline any time, day or night. For a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. This website and our contact form are not monitored for emergencies.
